Meditation Teacher Training Level 1

In this 15-hour mindfulness meditation teacher training and immersion (12 hours live online plus homework), level I, Cyndi will teach shamatha or mindfulness/awareness meditation as the foundation for cultivating self-knowledge and confidence in our own goodness, insight and compassion. This is the path to making friends with your own mind.

Mindfulness meditation practice also helps you connect to your inherent strength, stability and clarity, and these are the tools that we use when teaching meditation to others.

Built on her 30 years as a Buddhist practitioner, Cyndi has designed this course to include what are traditionally known as the two wings of the bird: study and practice. This level I training has been developed to be your guide for beginning or further developing your personal meditation practice.

Level I does not prepare you to teach a meditation class but it is the pre-requisite for level II that does prepare you to teach a class, to ensure all people have the relevant background. It is open to anyone, no need to be a yoga teacher or teacher of any kind. On completion of level II you will be certified to teach meditation in a group setting.

Saturday-Sunday 6th-7th + 13th-14th February
14:00-17:00 BST each day 

The online workshop will be recorded which you will have access to for 7 days. If you are unable to make it live you can still complete the course through watching the content online. 

Plus a group catch-up: Saturday 20 Feb 14:00-15:00 BST
